For all those who wish to learn about stained glass techniques, the Artisan du Vitrail offers discovery workshops that will allow you to acquire the various techniques used in the making of stained glass: traditional technique called "lead", Tiffany technique, glass painting and fusing.

Discovery workshop in 1 day
Realization of a small stained glass window in traditional or Tiffany technique, dimension 15 x 15 cm.
Duration of the workshop: 1 day (7 hours)
Description of the discovery workshop:
- Drawing of the model and plots
- Making the tracing paper and templates and cutting with a 3-blade chisel
- Choice and cuts of glasses
- Crimping (lead setting)
- Tin soldering, finishing and cleaning

Creation of a stained glass window with geometric patterns, dimensions: 30 x 40 cm.

Tiffany technical workshop
Creation of a stained-glass window from a model or from a drawing of your choice (maximum dimension: 30 x 40cm)

Glass painting workshop (grisaille or enamels)
Painting on glass requires special know-how and perfect knowledge of the results after firing. Few workshops in France offer this type of training. I suggest you in this workshop to make a painting from a model (lines and models), and will share with you my experience, my tips and tricks for making a beautiful painting.
Realization of one or two paintings from a model or from a drawing of your choice (maximum dimension: 21 x 30 cm).
Duration of the workshop: approximately 20 hours
